Carbon lock cover for the Audi RS5 F5 with the 2.9 TFSI EA839 biturbo V6. It is the small panel over the bonnet latch in the engine bay, the piece that sits next to the engine cover and spoils the look if it stays black plastic.

Two finishes

• Gloss lacquered (03AU00510005 KG);
• Matt lacquered (03AU00510005 KM).

Choose the one that matches the carbon already on your car, or the engine cover if you are ordering both.

Material and build

Full carbon fibre in Type K weave, the same weave Audi uses on its factory carbon, so the pattern lines up with the original parts. Layers are laid in a mould, impregnated with resin and cured in an autoclave at Capristo in Sundern, Germany. Mounting hardware is included.

Before you order

• The part is cosmetic, it does not change engine output;
• Capristo also offers it together with the engine cover as a set;
• Installation uses the original fixing points, nothing is cut;
• The standard cover can be refitted at any time.
