Carbon fin set for the Ferrari 458 Speciale. Two separate sets are offered: four front fins and a pair of side fins, left and right, each in gloss or matt lacquer.

What they are

• Front fins, set of four (03FE00410019LG gloss, 03FE00410019LM matt);
• Side fins, left and right (03FE00410013LG gloss, 03FE00410013LM matt).

The fins sit in the openings of the Speciale front end and along the flanks, following the lines Ferrari drew for this version. They are a visual accent that repeats the carbon already used on the car rather than an aerodynamic device.

How the carbon is made

Hand-laid prepreg in Capristo's own moulds, cured in an autoclave or press, then lacquered by hand. The weave matches the fabric used by the car manufacturer, so the fins line up with factory carbon on the bumper and the cabin.

Good to know

• Front and side sets are ordered separately, they are not one kit;
• Mounting hardware is supplied with each set;
• Gloss and matt cannot be mixed within one set, choose the finish when ordering;
• No drilling or bodywork modification is required.
