Carbon fin set for the Audi R8 V10 and V10 Plus of the 4S series. The fins sit in the side air intakes ahead of the rear wheels, where the standard car uses a plain painted insert.

• Matt lacquered (03AU00810006KM, 03AU00810001KM).

Two article groups cover the different intake versions of the car.

Material and build

Full carbon fibre with K-weave, laid up and lacquered in Sundern, Germany. The part is moulded on a 3D scan of the original panel, so the edges and gaps follow the body line without filling or trimming. Mounting hardware is included.

What it changes

Carbon replaces the painted or plastic standard part and cuts weight at the same time. On a car that already uses carbon in the engine bay and the cabin, the exterior pieces finish the look rather than start it.

Before you order

• Choose gloss or matt to match the other carbon parts on the car;
• Lacquer is UV stable, but carbon still ages faster in constant sun than paint;
• Installation uses the original fixing points, nothing is cut;
• The part is reversible, the standard piece can be refitted.
