Eventuri technology: how it differs from a conventional cone-filter intake
Most aftermarket intakes are built the same way: a cone filter slides onto the intake pipe and is covered by a heat shield. The air has to make an abrupt transition from the wide filter base to the narrow pipe over a short distance, and that sudden change in geometry hurts flow.
In Eventuri's patented design the cone filter is inverted and separated from the intake pipe. The flow path is shaped not by the filter but by a carbon fibre housing that guides air smoothly into the pipe with no abrupt change in cross-section. The gradual taper creates a venturi effect - the air accelerates while the flow stays laminar.
