ADRO was co-founded by Dongwan Yoo (CEO) and Sean Yoon (CTO). They met in 2010 over a shared passion for race cars and initially built body kits as a hobby. As demand grew they founded ADRO in 2020 and began expanding the range.

The ADRO team includes specialists from the aerospace industry, Formula 1 and automotive design. Chief designer Davis Lee - known for the Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 concept and work on the Mercedes CLS, S-Class and Hyundai Ioniq 5 - joined ADRO in January 2022. The aerodynamics department is led by Scott Beaton, previously an aerodynamicist at the Williams F1 team.

How ADRO develops a body kit: 3D scanning and CFD analysis

Every ADRO project starts with a 3D scan of the production car and CFD analysis - computational simulation of airflow. Parts are then designed in CAD with digital surface modelling and, where needed, refined in clay as is traditional in automotive design.
